Ahhh missed the fairway by a foot on hole 3. Only 13.5 mph tailwind, a bit unlucky.

13.5's not bad, my last one was 13.8, (11.7 w/ berserker) What club/ball combo did you try ?

After a good for me -11 front 9 I flubbed the back with a bunker on 11, rough on 16 and 18 which gave me a -19 expert.

Gotta play mistake free on this one.

Ahhhh hit the rough on hole #5 and lost the eagle. Did the same damn thing the other day. I don’t even know what I did wrong.

Overcompensated for wind. Some right curl and right spin doomed me.

Wow

Nice Shot

You're good!

Did you get your albatross?

nope, if only. But have learnt that if you do get over, it's a sniper approach rather than Guardian as Tommy was advocating. I was expecting to be having to carry the green & hold it but I couldn't even reach the front edge and there's an easier bounce on with Sniper anyway. The backstop does the rest.

Thanks, nice info. I've been carrying the Cataclysm but will make the switch ( i doubt i will reach with EM7 but you never know)

Yeah, could be tight. You'll probably need a Berserker adjusted wind of > 11.5 and to hit the shortest route. Worth trying though. nothing to loose as the layup's easy enough if you miss.

I am gonna try with my Apo 3 + berserker (that is the only 1 left) on Saturday. Hoping for favourable winds.

Bummer you can't see the actual wind on your drive before picking your wood club...

I'm currently the clubhouse leader on -21 in rookie. Not bad but a bit disappointing after my -12 in qualifying

Now time for the main event

I knew it was do-able. Even with a bit of a pull.....

Correct me if I am wrong. The landing spot in kyle's video is a bit of a hump. Wondering, has that played a role as It would have meant longer airtime for the ball and would have taken ball further. Any thoughts?

Forgot to mention but for reference the best in my group qualified at -13 with 2 more at -12.

Weakest was -6.

I had to take a break. After busting the drive on 6, these were my next two tee shots.

Break time! Somehow converted both birdies, it took a hero shot on #7.

There are very few players making the turn better than -9. Hard tournament.

Shot -23.  Lol Joni shot -25.   Masters.   That hole 3, you have to land on the right patch of rough to get the good roll onto fairway.

Lol my ladder is horrendous.  I think -17 will make the cut.
