Well, maybe a better question, what gets on your nerves?

I have two things that drive me nuts about this game.

Mid-level extra mile with a special ball, full overpower, full curl, incorrect wind adjustment shanked and hit “good” will find a fairway against me 100% of the time. My wife farts in the next room and it blows my drive into the rough.

The second thing is a panicked shootout. Your opponent is all over the map, adjusts 5 different spots, moves the spin around, basically doesn’t have a clue. Almost out of time, last minute wind adjustment, hit it great with no time on the clock and knocks it to a foot.

The disconnectors, I really cannot stand um, losers, cheats and generally worthless people, who I'd never associate with in life.

People with that mind set are no different in real life. Screw there best friend for a buck, thieves, liars and generally azzholes, lie and cheat to try and get ahead. Zero self worth, no belief in themselves or there abilities.

No use for um, zero

I hate when the ball goes in the hole and an invisible mole pushes it back out or when you hit a perfect shot on a shootout and it hits the pin and travels about 8 yards away from the hole.

Adrian47... I love that! I also like paper cuts on my tongue, spilling coffee on myself and turnstiles that don’t turn! What I can’t stand for some reason is the whole emoji spam thing!

it makes me laugh when someone starts spamming me for like 3,000 coins. Very sad that people get so excited and desperate.

When you drop down to tour 3, 4 or 5 to practice and you lose a hole, and they put the money face emoji up. And you're thinking to yourself, I've got millions in the bank, am I really bothered.

Keep in mind on your second point there, the whole “doesn’t have a clue” thing isn’t always the case. I’m 8.3k games in, I have several ways to nail each shootout. I’m always all over the map on shootout to see which one I like best with the given wind conditions. The “standard” way to hit each one is so engrained that I can setup and shoot it in 2 seconds if I’m not feeling my other spots.

To answer your question...

1. People who are so dependent on the ring method that they can’t manage to eyeball an 8mph wind on a wide open drive. Nails through my eyelids everytime I have to watch someone ring their way through simple shots like those.

2. Getting spammed with a completely uncalled for “thanks, you’re good” after losing a totally friendly match. I’m ok with people talking trash during, but when it’s all over, what purpose does that serve other than to just be a ****.

3. People putting up an “unlucky” after mis-hitting an already incorrectly set up shot. No bro, you’re the problem

4. People using a sniper all wrong. Clearly missing the cup with the ball guide, and then employing the ring method. If you aren’t going to put the ball guide in the cup, might as well just wing it at that point

Or when they set it all up, then use the rings to adjust for the wind. And then start fiddling about with it left, right, forwards and backwards until they have no clue where they started from. And then give the angry face when the hit the bunker. Aaaaarrrrrgh!!!!!

You take your time setting the shot up correctly and hit the shot perfectly, with the right amount of curl etc. and land either in the hole or right next to it. Then you get the laughing face and 'good luck' as if you didn't mean to do it.

exactly right. I played today for 3,000 to warm up for tour9 and the opponent was spamming from the start and got so excited when he won I was in hysterics.

Taking forever to lay up on a par 5. Does it really matter which stich of grass you hit in the fairway? Hit the ball. You’re going to try to use the rings with a short iron and screw it up anyway.

I don't always point directly at the cup?  In strong winds, especially with high first bounces, I will allow for the wind post-first bounce."The Blob" & "The Dodgy Apron" in particular spring to mind..... or aim short of the cup when using top-spin

If I'd known I was being annoying, I'd have develpoed  a different method. :)

Sorry, not what I meant. I leave it short too and account for variables as well. I meant directionally, where the BG is clearly shown sloping away from the cup, and not in a manner that shows compensating for variables. And then they flash “unlucky” after they miss and the ball lands exactly where the BG was originally shown ending. I have a feeling you knew what I was talking about :) I’m obviously not annoyed by skilled play.

Cherry picked replays that Guarantee a shootout. The ones that get in the hole max distance from the bunker or rough. Then get within a yard in a shootout.

Without question what bothers me most is the guy/girl who has played under 1000 game, is at +/-40% winning percentage, can't judge wind, curls the sh!it out of the tee shot, and uses MAX power on a Beserker ball a lands on the fringe on a par 4. Then chips in with a Level ! 'Down in One" -- FRIGGIN HATE THAT PERSON.

Also getting VERY TIRED of trading playoffs back and forth all day....too many SH!TTY golfers hit Eagles now. It has ruined the game.

When someone has a genuine grievance about being robbed due to faulty wind / hackers / miss-matching etc. and people shoot them down with tinfoil hat jokes and common sense reasoning.

Yes 100%. And the bitter irony is that the complainers are the ones who make **** happen. PD picks an chooses what to respond to, but you know they are aware of all the major grievances going on. Every time a change is made, for better or worse, it’s because PD acknowledged people were upset (ie matchmaking fairness)
